With artist John Crump
You will be joined aboard Affinity by the well known artist John Crump. An accomplished painter, he began painting in the 1960's when he was inspired by some of New Zealand's prominent painters - Peter McIntyre, Peter Beadle, Douglas Badcock, and others. He was drawn to the bold, confident brushwork and beautiful colour of these artists. The nature of their art helped steer him towards impressionist painting in the outdoors.
He finds joy in painting at such locations as the rugged West Coast, the white glistening peaks of the Southern Alps, and the pristine streams and native bush of the South Island.
