Directions to Fiordland
To get to the vessel in Fiordland.
To access this cruise your departure and return place is either Te Anau or Manapouri. There are buses that regularly service the area departing from both Invercargill and Queenstown (both towns have airports that most airlines fly in and out of). Te Anau also has a small airfield for smaller and private charter planes.
Once you have booked your cruise our office will arrange for your pickup from your overnight accommodation prior to your cruise to bring you to the vessel in Deep Cove, Doubtful Sound. This entails a coach ride to Manapouri, a cruise across lake Manapouri, then another coach ride over the Wilmot Pass and down to Deep Cove.
If you are coming as a group there is also the option to helicopter in to or out of the fiord's, just ask our office for details.
