Cruising the Queen Charlotte Sound

  • Cruise the idyllic Queen Charlotte Sound and visit some of the most beautiful places that this area has to offer with the opportunity to go ashore and discover the beautiful flora and fauna of the Marlborough Sounds.
  • Visit Motuara Island – a bird Sanctuary Island where Robins, Tuis, Pigeons, Kiwis, Kakarikis and Bellbirds live.  Hear the birdsong and look out for the rare South Island Saddleback as you walk along.
  • Visit the fish sanctuary at Double Cove and take part in a wonderful experience of feeding the tame fish.
  • Go ashore at Ship Cove where English explorer Captain James Cook made his home in the early 1770's.  Here you will find information panels explaining early Maori occupation and a monument to honour Captain Cook.
  • Visit a Salmon Farm and learn the process of one of the many successful aquaculture industries in Marlborough.

All walks are optional, you may wish to stay onboard and relax.

Our friendly crew look forward to welcoming you onboard.
