Your adventure starts from your overnight accommodation (prior to your cruise) in Te Anau.  On the day that your cruise starts a local operator will pick you up and bring you to Affinity. The trip includes a coach to the Manapouri wharf then a cruise across Lake Manapouri where at the other side you will board another coach, for the trip over the Wilmot Pass and down into Deep Cove, Doubtful Sound where Affinity will be waiting for you.

Why do we visit Fiordland in winter? In the months of June, July & August the Fiordland coastal area has more settled, calmer conditions than during the rest of the year, there are also fewer sandflies.

Between dives there are a number of very interesting sites to visit relating to Captain Cook, early settlers and conservationists.

Unless the coast conditions are calm diving and fishing takes place in the sheltered water of the Fiords.

Affinity is equipped with two air compressors for refilling your dive tanks. She has plenty of room for kitting up (getting into your dive gear), easy access into and out of the water with wide platform steps across the stern and 2 ladders that go directly into the water.

She has a 4-meter inflatable tender (dingy) for use when diving.
