Marlborough Sounds

Dear Brian and crew.

It was a splendid holiday and thanks to your sensitive care I found I was able to join in most things - much more in fact than I thought I would be able to.

I think the highlight for me was the dolphins. I'd never seen so many before. French Pass, the scallops, everything really and I enjoyed the company.

Weren't we lucky with the weather? It was blowing a gale when I got home.

With best wishes for your future trips.

Cruise Marlborough Sounds
November to April

Cruising Queen Charlotte, Pelorus, Kenepuru Sounds and on our six and ten night scenic cruises French Pass and d’Urville Island.

We offer two different types of cruises in the Marlborough Sounds; Scenic and Walking Cruises which can range from two to ten nights in duration.

On our six and ten night scenic cruises there is also the opportunity to catch fish for the crew to cook up for dinner – it doesn’t get much fresher that this! There are also plenty of occasions to go ashore and stretch your legs with the many beautiful beaches and walking tracks in the Marlborough Sounds.

For our walking cruises you have two options; the very popular 5 Night Queen Charlotte Track Walk and Cruise or the NEW 3 Night Pelorus Walk and Cruise. With both of the cruises you go ashore each day and walk different sections of well-maintained tracks.

The advantage of our ‘Cruise and Walk’ cruises are that you have the same accommodation each night along with a hot shower and all your meals are sorted for you, and a packed lunch will be sent with you if ashore over the lunch period. Your luggage will stay in your cabin, so you have no heavy pack to carry.

You get to experience the beauty and tranquillity of the Marlborough Sounds on all of our cruises as we cruise leisurely through hidden bays and coves. All walks are optional – you may wish to stay on board and relax, or there may be a shorter walk that would suit you better.
