Marlborough Sounds

Dear Brian and crew.

It was a splendid holiday and thanks to your sensitive care I found I was able to join in most things - much more in fact than I thought I would be able to.

I think the highlight for me was the dolphins. I'd never seen so many before. French Pass, the scallops, everything really and I enjoyed the company.

Weren't we lucky with the weather? It was blowing a gale when I got home.

With best wishes for your future trips.

Cruise Marlborough Sounds
November to April

Cruising Queen Charlotte, Pelorus and Kenepuru Sounds.

The trip includes a visit to d’Urville Island and French Pass. Multi-interest cruises range from 5 nights / 6 days to 6 nights / 7 days.

Visit Motuara Island – a bird sanctuary where robins, tui, wood pigeons, kiwi, parakeets and bellbirds live. Hear the birdsong and watch for the rare South Island saddleback as you walk along.

Experience the beauty and tranquillity of the Marlborough Sounds as we cruise leisurely through hidden bays and coves. All walks are optional – you may wish to stay onboard and relax, or there may be a shorter walk that would suit you better.

Walks from Affinity have the advantage that your accommodation follows you. At the end of your walk, a hot shower and your same bed/cabin are there waiting. All meals are cooked for you, and a packed lunch will be sent with you if ashore over the lunch period. Your luggage will stay in your cabin, so you have no heavy pack to carry.
