Affinity Cruises COVID-19 update – read more

Following on from the directive from the Prime Minister on Saturday 21/03/2020

  • Four stage Alert System for COVID-19 announced
  • New Zealand moved up to COVID-19 Alert Level 2 – Reduce Contact
  • New Zealanders over 70 and those with certain medical conditions told to stay at home as much as they can to reduce risk of contact with the virus
  • Workplaces to implement plans to reduce person-to-person contact, including work from home where possible
  • Limit all non-essential domestic travel

And with the latest information that we have available to us at this stage we understand that the virus may peak in New Zealand in 2 weeks’ time and travel restrictions may be removed in 4 weeks’ time in which case it will be business as usual for us at Affinity Cruises for our winter cruises – Stewart Island and Fiordland.

We will be re accessing this regularly and will be in contact with you when changes are made.

As this is unprecedented there will be issues to work through and at this stage, on the cruises that have been postponed we are giving people that have booked a 12 month cruising credit of the same value that they have paid.

Captain Cook 250th Anniversary Cruise Update

This cruise was enjoyed by everybody onboard our vessel.
Picton and the Marlborough Sounds were buzzing with excitement for the 250th celebration and to see the vessels coming into Picton harbour with Affinity following behind the flotilla was fantastic.
So pleased that we were able to share this amazing event with our passengers.

It’s time to CELEBRATE!

Captain Cook 250th Anniversary Cruise 20-24 November 2019

We are getting very excited about this cruise!  We will experience the arrival of the flotilla as they head to ship Cove in the outer Queen Charlotte Sound for the start of the local celebrations, cruising to Motuara Island, walking parts of the Queen Charlotte Track and many other activities on this cruise then following the flotilla into Picton, this is the pinnacle of the cruise and a highlight for our passengers.  We have one cabin left, be quick!
