Terms and Conditions

Booking and Payment Programme

Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable NZD250.00 per person booking deposit, and receipt of Affinity Cruises’ booking form.

Final payment is due 30 days prior to cruise departure.

For exclusive charters — exclusive use of the vessel; maximum of 16 passengers — the rate is 16 times the per-person rate, regardless of the number of people.

Child rate only applies to exclusive charters. 0–2 years-old no charge; 2–10 years-old 60% of full rate; 10–15 years-old 70% of full rate; 15+ years-old full rate applies.

We recommend that in case of unforeseen circumstances that may cause you to cancel your cruise, you obtain travel insurance. Our office can help you with this.

Standard Booking and Payment Policy

To secure your cruise a non-refundable $250.00 per person or $400 per person (10 Night Cruise) booking deposit is required now. Sixty days (2 months) before your departure date we require full payment of the total cruise cost.

Additional Bookings Any additional items booked on your behalf (travel insurance, transfers and accommodation bookings) Payments are due on invoice.

Affinity Cruises Standard Cancellation Policy Cancellation sixty-one (61) days or more before sailing you forfeit your non-refundable deposit. Cancellation sixty (60) to thirty-one (31) days before sailing, you forfeit fifty (50) percent of total cost. Cancellation within thirty (30) days before sailing, NO refund applies, total fare payable.

If Affinity Cruises cancel your cruise due to the vessel being unable to depart full refund applies excluding acts of force majeure / acts of God.

We recommend that for unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to health reasons that may cause you to cancel your cruise that you obtain travel insurance.

Affinity Cruises COVID-19 Booking and Payment Policy To secure your cruise a non-refundable $250.00 per person or $400 per person (10 Night Cruise) booking deposit is required to confirm your booking.

Balance of cruise payment Balance of cruise payment is due 30 days prior to departure.

Additional Bookings Any additional items booked on your behalf (travel insurance, transfers and accommodation bookings). Payments due on invoice.

Cancellation Policy Due to Covid-19 This policy overrides the standard Affinity Cruises Cancellation Policy under the following situations:

  • The New Zealand Government moves the country back to a level that prevents people from travelling around New Zealand.
  • You or a close family member is tested positive or probable for the corona virus – medical certificate will be required.

Cancellation before sailing Your cruise payment can be transferred to any other cruise departing before 31 August 2021. Cancellation due to other reasons the standard Affinity Cruises policy is applied.

Cancellation on additional bookings All additional bookings made on your behalf will be determined by the providers cancellation policy at the time of booking. Affinity cruises reserve the right to charge a 10% fee of the total value of your additional booking to amend and or cancel bookings on your behalf.

If Affinity Cruises cancel your cruise due to the vessel being unable to depart full refund applies excluding force majeure / act of god.
